Trump’s Direct Threat to Hamas: U.S. Backs Attacks If Gaza Bloodshed Continues

U.S. President Donald Trump has warned Palestinian group Hamas to halt violence in Gaza. He emphasised that bloodshed will not be tolerated and stated that if Hamas refuses to lay down its weapons, attacks will follow, targeting each fighter. His remarks come amid clashes between Hamas and other Gaza factions, following last week’s ceasefire with Israel.

International News: U.S. President Donald Trump called on Hamas to stop the violence in Gaza, warning that continued bloodshed will not be tolerated. He said the U.S. would support attacks on Hamas if the group does not lay down its weapons, as clashes continue between Hamas and other Gaza factions.

Trump’s Social Media Warning

On Thursday, Trump wrote on social media that Hamas killing people was not part of the agreement. He added that if Hamas continues targeting civilians, “we will have no choice but to kill them.” Later, speaking to reporters, he clarified that U.S. forces will not enter Gaza, saying, “We will not do that we don’t need to.”

Hamas has killed several gangs

The president said Hamas has eliminated multiple gangs and killed their members. If this continues, the U.S. might be forced to step in and eliminate them. After last week’s Israel-Hamas ceasefire, Trump had earlier described the ongoing violence as minor. He warned that his patience is limited over Hamas killing rival factions: “Hamas must drop its weapons. If they won’t, we will disarm them and if we do, it will be forceful.”

Why there is conflict in Gaza

The two-year war in Gaza paused last week. After the ceasefire, clashes have emerged between Gaza factions. Hamas has long ruled Gaza, consolidating power after coming to control it 18 years ago. Israeli strikes weakened Hamas, and after the ceasefire, it is now clashing with other armed groups.
